I Ain't One to Gossip

A while back, my friend Kelly (a super crafty girl and blogger too! Check out here blog here) found and refinished a gossip bench. Here is Kelly's amazing transformation.

Ever since I read her blog about this gossip bench and saw the pictures and how cute it was, I HAD to have one. I have been looking on Craig's List, but folks are very proud of their gossip benches.

I had resigned myself to the fact that I wouldn't be able to find a deal on one, so I just put it out of mind.... Until fate intervened today.

On my way back from buying some frosting paint at Jo Ann Fabrics (for another projected that just got moved to Number 2 on the list), I decided to stop at the Goodwill. I found this.

It is not much to look at right now, and it needs some work, but with a little love and some TLC, this gossip bench might just give Ms. Kelly's bench a run for it's money. I am going to start on this after Thanksgiving, but as soon as I have it finished, I'll post pictures!
