My project for this weekend

For the past couple of months, every weekend has been filled with weddings or other stuff that we have to do. I have felt like I was not able to get anything done at home. The big thing I want to get done is to re-do my dining room table. I am not a fan of the table. Or chairs. In fact, I want to get rid of the whole thing.

That is until I read this blog Junkin' Junky by Mel - I love it.
This has inspired me to paint my table and to look for some new chairs for the table. Instead of starting from scratch, I can just update the look.



I love this so much that I am going to get started on this project this very weekend. I am sure my husband does not want to hear that, but with such nice weather, there is not a better time to start!

I will take some pictures of the before and will get those posted. That way, when the project is finally complete (I envision this taking just a little while, given everything that I have going on) you can compare the before and after.
